For your convenience, we do offer multiple payment options. When the technician has completed the work, we offer the following methods of payment:

  1. We do accept all major credit/debit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). There will be a 3% processing fee that will be added to the invoice when paying by card.
  2. We also accept cash or check.
  3. If you are unable to pay in full, you can make arrangements for monthly payments prior to the work being completed.
  4. If you are in need of major repairs or are replacing your equipment, we do have financing options that are available to you.

Do not be tricked into hiring a company with super cheap rates. They may not be licensed, or properly insured, and may not “pull” the necessary permits. Barrett Heating & Cooling, Inc. is a licensed contractor for the state of Illinois, fully insured, including Worker’s Compensation and liability insurance, and will procure all municipal and state permits when required.

Due to concerns for liability, working with a company that is compliant with the local codes and maintains appropriate insurance is very important to you. If a company is not adequately insured and a worker is injured, you could be held responsible. Also, if there is an insurance claim because of an accident or fire associated with work where no permit was obtained when required or work was done by an unlicensed contractor, your insurance may challenge the claim. If you sell your home, you do not want to find yourself spending even more money to correct inferior work.

For a low, yearly rate we will perform a maintenance check-up and general cleaning of the covered equipment. As a service agreement customer, you are entitled to discounted rates and priority scheduling for trouble calls, as well as discounts on repairs and parts.
